A quarter steer fills approximately 4-5 large grocery sacks.

The price for 2024 is $4.75 per pound hanging weight.

Butcher costs are separate and in addition to these costs (see previous page for details).

Actual meat is about 30% less than hanging weight after cutting and de-boning.

The total cost of a quarter is between $650 and $800. Variability is based on the size of the animal.

Your order will be ready for pick up or delivery approximately two weeks after the butcher comes to the farm.
